1. Click the "Add Panel" button in the toolbar at the top. This will open a list of panel options on the right-hand side of your screen.
2. Hover your mouse over the "Panel Options" menu and scroll down until you find the "Banner 1" option. Click it. A new "Banner 1" panel will be added at the bottom of your page.
A "Banner 1" panel is made up of one or more "slides". If multiple slides exist for the same panel, a "slideshow" will begin and loop through each slide.
To navigate between different slides while editing the page, use the small controller near the bottom of the Banner 1 panel.
1. To add a slide to your "Banner 1" panel you will need to copy an existing slide. Right-click on the slide you wish to copy, then select "Clone Slide" from the menu.
1. Right-click on the slide you wish to edit, then select "Slide Settings" from the menu. Note: "Slide Settings", not "Panel Settings".
2. To edit the slide's text, you'll want to make changes to the "Content" tab. Depending on the background image, you may find changing the "Heading Style" and "Text Style" options can help to make the text more legible.
3. To add or edit a button, you'll edit the "Buttons" tab. You can have up to two buttons per slide. To remove a button, simply leave the "Button Label" field empty for that button (or both, if you want no buttons at all). If you wish the link to open in a new browser tab, select "yes". Typically, if the link points to somewhere on your own website you'll set this option to "no", and if the link points to an external website you'll set it to "yes".
4. To change the background of the slide, edit the "Background" tab. To use an existing file, or to upload a new one, click the "Browse" button for the background you want to change.
Most of the time, you will only want to edit the "Desktops (default)" field, but occasionally the background you choose for desktops will not look good on a different-sized device, so you need a specify a different background. The latter four options under this tab allow you to do that.
5. You can change the position of the text, along with a few other settings, by editing the options under the "Advanced" tab.
1. To remove a slide from your "Banner 1" panel you will right-click on the slide you wish to delete, then select "Delete Slide" from the menu. After confirming, the slide will be removed. Note: "Delete Slide", not "Delete Panel".
